About Christien Kluwe, MD
Dr. Kluwe is an assistant professor of radiation oncology at UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center. He has a clinical focus on genitourinary and gynecologic malignancies. His expertise is in brachytherapy and stereotactic radiation therapy. His current research interests include image-guided brachytherapy, adaptive radiotherapy, and novel techniques for ablative radiotherapy. He is the site investigator for several national clinical trials. An adopted Texan, he completed his medical education at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He then completed residency training and an initial faculty appointment at Vanderbilt University Medical Center before returning to Texas to join the faculty at UT Health San Antonio.
